The Association of Accrediting Agencies of Canada was founded in 1994 as a national network of professional education accrediting bodies.

The Association now represents the accrediting bodies for some 30 professions, an increase in membership by over 50% over the last three years. If your organization is involved in accreditation or has a need to keep informed, then please join us.

We are committed to ensuring the achievement and maintenance of reasonable and appropriate standards of education for professionals as outlined in our Guidelines for Good Practice of Academic Accreditation of Professional Programs

One example of promoting good practice in accreditation is our generic on-line course for Site Evaluators which helps to establish clear benchmarks for those who play an active role in program accreditation.
